Magical kicked off her campaign with three successive wins – finishing her hat-trick in the Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh in May.
Galileo’s girl has stuffed the runner-up place on every one of her three subsequent starts – chasing house Crystal Ocean at the Prince of Wales’s Stakes at Royal Ascot before finding foe Enable strong at the Coral-Eclipse in Sandown and the Yorkshire Oaks.
Donnacha O’Brien, the coach’s kid, has not ridden Magical competitively in two or more years, but could be on board this weekend should Ryan Moore stay in Britain to ride at the William Hill St Leger at Doncaster.
O’Brien junior explained:”She’s a very demanding, consistent mare and she provides her finest running each time. Her form is up there with all the best bar Empower, in the planet, so that she looks to be going there with a large shout.
“Obviously I’m unsure what is going to show up yet, but she seems like the one which they are totally going to have to conquer.
“She is an exceptional mare – she’s probably up there with the best that I have ridden. She’s just very unfortunate to be that Permit was. You are not likely to get fillies.
“She is a great mare and she has been a fantastic servant .”
O’Brien has made in Pink Dogwood, Magic Wand, Investec Derby hero Anthony Van Dyck, 2000 Guineas winner Magna Grecia and Horn.
There’s set to be a powerful British challenge, together using the Headman after the latter was inserted into the field at Tuesday phase combined from the Mark Johnston-trained Elarqam of Roger Charlton.
Headman has made his measure up to the degree by winning Group two prizes in France, while Elarqam produced a career-best performance to complete a close-up third at York.

Donnacha O’Brien stated of Hermosa:”She is in amazing form. She’s had a tiny bit of a rest, the last couple of weeks, along with her work seems to be really, really great because – probably like I’ve felt her all year, so she seems to be moving there with a big possibility.”
The best way would be six-time Group One winner Laurens, that inflicted a shock defeat in the past year’s renewal Alpha Centauri and Karl Burke champion.
Joseph O’Brien’s set of also the John Oxx-trained Skitter Scatter and Iridessa and Red Tea would be the hopefuls.
