P2A VIRTUAL MOBILITY “Language and Social Behavior” (2nd – 13th August 2021)

This year, P2A mobility was held although it was still done virtually due to COVID-19 pandemi that still happening. This program was organized by BINUS University (Indonesia), BINUS University (Indonesia), Universitas Islam Sultan Agung (Indonesia), Bukidnon State University (BukSU) – (Philippines) and Burapha University International College (BUUIC) – (Thailand) bekerjasama dengan Passage to ASEAN Association (P2A). The name of the program is Student e-Xchange Program in Language and Social Behavior which taking the theme How the Language I Speak Influence the Way I Behave. This program were held on 2 – 13 August 2021 (2 weeks, 6 sessions) through zoom platform, the participants of this program are students from the University organizer which are BINUS, BukSU, BUUIC, and UNISSULA (total 60 students).

The program’s aims were to help students share and exchange ideas and experiences and have a better understanding of other people from different backgrounds and cultures. During the program, students learn a lot in terms of how to do group networking to discuss together with their which the team already randomly chooses by the committee considering the diversity of the Universities. This program also indirectly push the students to explore ideas in order to create a final project that will be presented on the last day of the program.
To support and also giving understanding about the main theme, the committee also support the students by providing expertise or lecturer from each universities to gave a presentation related to culture, language, and social behavior.
And on the closing day of the program, each student group which consisting of total 4 groups presenting their final project and the panelis sharing their feedback.
